All Seasons Cup in Dark Stoneware

The changing seasons are woven into Japanese life, from annual celebrations to the seasonal words of haiku. I wanted this cup to hold that sense of beauty and change: a familiar tree can offer something different in every season. Its carved surface invites you to notice those small changes as you turn it in your hands.

One-of-a-kind wheel-thrown dark stoneware cup with slip, underglaze, and carved details.
