All Seasons Porcelain Cup

In Japan, the seasons are celebrated not only for their beauty, but also for how briefly each moment lasts. Seasonal images in poetry and daily life encourage us to pause and notice. This porcelain cup carries my affection for that way of seeing nature throughout the year.

One-of-a-kind wheel-thrown porcelain cup with underglaze and carved details.
